At First Glance: Two bathrooms – disappointing, because the website had promised three. But two will have to suffice. The bathroom on the ground floor was itty bitty, just a toilet, a sink, and a shower, all inhumanely crammed into a tiny room. The upstairs bathroom was more spacious and luxurious, with a shower-bath combination featuring a shower curtain that cut off half the shower space.

Shower Power: Both showers had decent pressure.

Hot or Not?: The upstairs shower was not capable of obtaining the perfect temperature, instead choosing scalding hot water or lukewarm water. The downstairs shower, however, was perfectly adjustable and therefore also pleasantly hot.

What Made it Nice: Plentiful, clean, large bath linens, all the same monotonous tan, but in two sizes, and with a loop for convenient hanging. Also, hooks abound in this house. We find them everywhere, dozens all over. I’m in hook heaven. It’s ever so convenient for keeping things off of the dirty ground and for drying towels.

What Made it Not-So-Nice: The bathtub was grimy and gray along the bottom, and the pipes were bluntly obvious, further uglifying an already unpretty sight.
