At First Glance: Wow. What a huge bathtub! You could
actually recline in that thing, or maybe even lie down! Incredible!
Shower Power: So amazing. Too powerful, but luckily adjustable.
If we pulled up the facuet handle only part of the way, we could find the
perfect pressure.
Hot or Not?: Also remarkable. The hot and cold are switched,
though, and not correctly marked, but it’s still perfectly adjustable to one’s
own comfort level.
What Made it Nice: Shining cleanliness, unbelievable space,
and wonderful fluffy white towels.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Mom and Lindsey had a hard time
figuring out which side was hot and which was cold.
Overall Rating: 9 out of 10

At First Glance: Sparkling white and clean, with a cute
little almost-square bathtub attached to it. How lovely!
Shower Power: Incredible! So powerful it knocked my socks
off!
Hot or Not?: It was hot, the whole shower through, but it
kept getting hotter and hotter, until it was too hot.
What Made it Nice: The definite cleanliness of it all was
very reassuring to us germaphobes.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: One cannot sit in a square
bathtub.

At First Glance: Two separate showers,
in two separate bathrooms! One shower even has a bathtub! Yay!
Shower Power: Decent, unless two
showers were going at the same time, at which point it was pathetic.
So these aren’t as good as American showers, but they are close –
well, closer.
Hot or Not?: Wonderfully hot, the whole
time, even when two showers were competing with one another for the
hot water. Amazing!
What Made it Nice: The spaciousness was
lovely, and the décor was also benef... Continue reading...

At First Glance: What sparkling white
walls and floor! Have I ever seen a shower this clean before? I have,
actually, but it’s been so long! I love the benefits of sleeping in
a hotel!
Shower Power: Mom’s power was
wonderful. She took a lovely, long shower, with pounding pressure,
and enjoyed it immensely. Next went Lindsey, who experienced medium
flow. I took the last shower, and was sorely disappointed.
Hot or Not?: Again, Mom enjoyed a
deliciously hot shower, Lindsey’s got freezi... Continue reading...

At First Glance: So many pipes! Is it
really that hard to just put the pipes behind walls? Really now!
Shower Power: Nada pressure in Granada.
We had to use it French-style, holding the showerhead inches from our
head, because, if we put it in the wall mount, it dripped only on the
knobs below.
Hot or Not?: Plenty hot, and easily
adjustable, but we had to be careful not to burn ourselves on the
scorching hot water pipes that were everywhere in the shower.
What Made it Nice: We got plent... Continue reading...

At First Glance: A shower bathtub combo! Yay! Also a very
cute bathroom with small blue tiles for the walls and counters.
Shower Power: Quite decent, actually!
Hot or Not?: Fickle, but not as much as some showers have
been in the recent past. It stayed mostly around the showerer’s desired
temperature.
What Made it Nice: Bright blue shower gel, milk and honey
liquid soap, hooks and towel rods galore, and they even provided toilet paper!
A bathtub was also a special treat. There was a she... Continue reading...

At First Glance: It has a shower curtain! And a mount for
the shower head! And tiled walls and floor, instead of stucco paint surfaces
like in the last shower!
Shower Power: Pretty good…OK, not so great…well, it’s
decent. Fluxuating!
Hot or Not?: Boiling hot…no, wait, freezing cold..oh, now
it’s nice and warm…but now it’s cold again. Indecisive!
What Made it Nice: Little ledge a few inches above the floor
on which to balance the bottles and stuff.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: ... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Just a niche in the wall – no linoleum,
tile, or anything, just blue paint on the walls, ceiling, and floor. No shower
curtain, either, and no mount for the shower head. Also, no soap dish, no
shelves, nothing. It was the simplest shower I have ever encountered.
Shower Power: Splendid, actually, because we had control
over how close the showerhead was to our own heads. It could be pretty powerful
if we held it close to the scalp, or very weak, if we let it trickle down to ... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Beautiful bathrooms – two, right next to
each other! The one on the left was small and squished, while the one on the
right was large and open and enjoyable to be in.
Shower Power: Both showers exhibited excellent power, cleaning
us well, although we sometimes competed with one another for water in the sink
and in the shower, and therefore did not want two showers to have to compete
against one another for water.
Hot or Not?: Plenty hot, easily adjustable, constantly a c... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Tiny, but clean. Several rods and hooks for
towels.
Shower Power: Fickle. Sometimes good enough, and other times
we wondered who was messing with our pipe lines. The showerhead was nice and
high, though.
Hot or Not?: Also fickle. Sometimes very hot, sometimes
unpleasantly tepid. Incorrectly labeled, but somewhat easily adjustable.
What Made it Nice: Well, we had two showers, but the one
downstairs leaked like crazy, so then we decided to use only the upper shower.
But th... Continue reading...
