At First Glance: Only one
bathroom. Tiny, too, with very few places to put things. A very small shower,
as well.
Shower Power: Decent. An
adjustable showerhead, with the ability to move up and down, right and left.
Pressure controlled by a knob on a box.
Hot or Not?: Also decent,
and also controlled by a knob on a box.
What Made it Nice: An
abundance of different-colored towels made it easy to tell our towels apart
from the others.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: One
bathroom with one shower is not enough for six people.
Overall Rating: 6 out of 10

At First Glance: Two
separate bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bathroom
became the kids’ bathroom. It was a bathtub-shower combo with a clear glass
curtain that only reached half of the bathtub. The downstairs shower was a somewhat
spacious telephone-booth style shower, but still just big enough for a person,
and nothing more.
Shower Power: Upstairs
shower was absolutely pathetic. Ben said he got better pressure from a water
fountain. The shower downstairs had delig... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Two
separate bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs bathroom
became the kids bathroom. It was a bathtub-shower combo, with a box for the temperature
and power adjustments, and a clear glass curtain that folded up like an
accordion in the corner, or stretched to shelter two-thirds of the bathtub. The
upstairs shower was a telephone-booth style shower, just big enough for a
person, and nothing more. Its temperature and power adjusters came in the form
of som... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Four bathrooms, three showers, one a shower/bath combo! Not very clean, though, and only the bare neccessities, and some still lacking. No counter space or hooks or anywhere to put things that's not the floor!
Shower Power: Small, but surprisingly powerful.
Hot or Not?: Perfectly, wonderfully hot, correctly labeled, and easily adjustable.
What Made it Nice: Lovely tile work, though it's really a synthetic material made to look like tile. And the bathtub had little ledges o... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Bathtub/shower
combo with a door that only covers half the bathtub. That could mean water
everywhere! But it was also a rather large bathtub too! Again, the shower has a
box with a power button and two dials: one for temperature and one for
pressure.
Shower Power: Impressive,
but not amazing.
Hot or Not?: Scalding hot!
Unbearable! All of us have now showered, but we can’t seem to find the perfect
temperature. One either burns oneself or takes a bath like Dad ended up doi... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Two
bathrooms, one upstairs, with a toilet and a bathtub, and one downstairs, with
a toilet and a shower. White and clean. The shower has a box with a power
button and two dials: one for temperature and one for pressure. Simple, and yet
so complicated! And the shower had curved sliding glass doors that slid together
to keep the water from going everywhere. That said, the shower itself was not
that spacious, in fact it was smaller than a telephone booth, but the rest of
the ba... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Like campground showers again, but unisex
and only four of them. We’ll pass, thanks!
Shower Power: Dad (the only one brave enough to try these
showers) said you had to keep pushing a button every so often to keep the water
coming.
Hot or Not?: Dad made no comment on this aspect of his
shower, so it was presumably pleasant (unmentionably so).
What Made it Nice: Not much. Dad didn’t complain about the
low height of the showerhead though, so it must have been good. And h... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Weird layout! Three “bathrooms”, but not at
all what one would expect. One bathroom has a shower, a sink, a washing
machine, a mirror, a stool, lots of towels, and plenty of hanging space – the “shower
room”. The second has a toilet, a sink, a mirror, and a few cleaning supplies –
the “toilet room”. The third bathroom has two sinks, two mirrors, a bath and
shower combination, and a bidet, along with an abundance of towel rods and
hooks – the “bath room”.... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Rather small, but functional. Two sliding
doors slide towards a corner, where they meet to seal off the shower. The doors
are an awesome-looking material that looks like it has bubbles on it, but
that’s just the design. There’s a shower caddy in the shower, the first in many
months. It has two shelves, two hooks, and a soap bar.
Shower Power: Incredible, if you turn it on all the way. It
was conveniently adjustable.
Hot or Not?: Not so adjustable, but plenty hot once w... Continue reading...

At First Glance: Two separate bathrooms, two separate
showers, and two separate water heaters (per our hostess) means two people can
shower at the same time in two different showers! Whoa!
Shower Power: Impressive! The kids’ shower had better
pressure than the parents’ shower, however.
Hot or Not?: Hot. But difficult knobs, though correctly
labeled. Not exactly easily adjustable.
What Made it Nice: Showerhead had a mount, but was also
detachable and had several different settings! Al... Continue reading...
