At First Glance: White and pink. Very pretty and clean. There
were even paintings of flowers on the walls between each mirror.
Shower Power: Lovely beyond words. But the showerhead was
made for short people, so it was hard to get a good rinse.
Hot or Not?: Perfectly hot.
What Made it Nice: We didn’t have to be concerned about
staying clean. Also, stool in each shower, lots of counter space, little shower
caddy. And the ground was slightly tilted towards the back wall of the shower,
where there was a drain, so the floor was floor, not one big puddle.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Low showerhead

At First Glance: Ew. This floor is disgusting. How am I
supposed to clean myself in all this dirt?
Shower Power: Almost decent.
Hot or Not?: There was no way to adjust the temperature! It
was just a button you pushed for about a miute of water.
What Made it Nice: The interior of the building was pretty. Three
single hooks and a double hook.

was no shower curtain separating the changing area from the showering area, and

At First Glance: Only one?! It’s so small, too! But a lovely
bright salmon-colored shower curtain
Shower Power: Lovely. Powerful, but not too much.
Hot or Not?: Mostly hot. Kind of switched a bit, but not too
bad.
What Made it Nice: Five double hooks, mat on floor, pretty
shower curtain, wooden bench attached to wall, so extra sturdy. And
COMPLIMENTARY TOWELS! We didn’t even have to use our own towels or worry about
dropping them on the wet floor or getting dirty.

At First Glance: Pathetic. Painful to the eyes. It stinks,
it’s small, there are mosquitos and other bugs, it’s hot, and I’m supposed to
come here to get clean? The shower curtain didn’t even stay up!
Shower Power: So hard it was painful and we tried to get out
from under it as much as possible. It’s hard to get clean that way.

At First Glance: Lovely interior design, wood and tan theme
very complimentary to the tile walls of the shower.
Shower Power: Perfect. Far above all of our heads, showerhead sent
water exactly where we wanted it, at a decent water pressure.
Hot or Not?: Wonderfully hot.
What Made it Nice: The decorations, the shelves (one for
sitting, two for stuff), the wall of hooks outside, the generous amount of
space and the assurance that everything was REALLY clean.

At First Glance: Very cute. Much better than the last KOA.
Lacy off-white curtains with embroidered flowers and hanging pots of pink
flowers.
Shower Power: Great! Adjustable to fit your liking. However,
boys report lousy shower power.
Hot or Not?: Hot at the beginning, then got colder at the
end.
What Made it Nice: Good stream, door AND curtain, stool
outside, shelf inside, two double hooks, the whole nine yards. Tall enough for

At First Glance: Clean, white, spacious
Shower Power: Strong enough in girls’ showers, but
supposedly pathetic in boys’ showers
Hot or Not?: Hot enough to be liked
What Made it Nice: Showering in handicap stall with
cushioned seat was quite fun
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Everything got wet. Shower curtain
didn’t do much to prevent that. Also handicap shower had showerhead, with no
place to hang it up – which was both good and bad.

At First Glance: Small, old-fashioned, filthy,
uncomfortable, not well-furnished or well-made
Shower Power: Decent, except the showerhead was so tall and far
away that it was pathetic by the time it reached us
Hot or Not?: Yes, but not a very nice type of hot, a very
unpleasantly hot type of hot.
What Made it Nice: Not much. We discovered that we can
shower in under six minutes.

Shower Power: Weak, but manageable
Hot or Not?: Pretty hot.
What Made it Nice: Lots of benches, curtains and hooks. Also,
floor covered to keep it relatively dry
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Floor coverings hurt our feet.
Also, not very tall.

At First Glance: Huge. Plentiful in number. Quite clean,
somewhat crowded, but white and enjoyable.
Shower Power: Perfect, amazing, and enjoyable.
Hot or Not?: Hot. And the temperature adjuster was labeled
correctly too!
What Made it Nice: Little shelves in the walls of the
showers, just big enough to hold bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Also one
hook and a decent-sized bench. Nice mat-like thing kept everything relatively
dry.
