At First Glance: Clean. Cool bath mats. Hanging pot of
grapes! and pretty green gingham curtains too!
Shower Power: Varies from shower to shower. The ones with
the red lever were puny, and the ones with the chain were decent.
Hot or Not?: Nice and hot at the beginning of the shower,
but ran out of hot water at the end of the shower. L
What Made it Nice: The bath mats kept the floor relatively
dry. The showerheads with the chains were nice and high. And the hand dryer
blew very warm air, so we kind of blow-dried our hair using the hand dryer to keep
our heads warm.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Public changing area. Also, you
had to hold the chain down to keep the water flowing. It is very hard to shower
one-handed. And you had to pull the red lever every thirty seconds or so. The
showerheads with the red lever were very low, but perfect for Abby.

At First Glance: Outside showers! Whoa! We walk in and see a
line of stalls, for changing, with hooks and benches in them. Then we walk
farther, turn the corner, and see two shower stalls. Everything is painted
bright shades of blue. We try to turn on the shower and get only a pitiful
smattering of water. Then we try a light blue door opposite the changing
stalls. In here is your typical bathroom, with two timer switches on the wall

At First Glance: I was grossed out before I entered the
bathroom by a live frog that had been attracted to the warm air coming from the
shower room. Needless to say, the frog is no longer my fave animal. As for the
showers…they were large and spacious, but hot and humid.
Shower Power: It was pretty good, but it went off every
three seconds.
Hot or Not?: There was no temperature adjuster, but it was
really hot anyway. REALLY hot!

At First Glance: Wow. Beautiful furnishings and lovely
interior decorating. I have never seen lace shower curtains. Very nice.
Shower Power: Wonderful. Not too hard, not too drippy.
Hot or Not?: The perfec temperature! Amazing.
What Made it Nice: The bathroom was so wonderfully decorated
that the shower was very relaxing.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: The part about I had to get out at
the end. I wanted to stay in there forever!

At First Glance: Wonderfully decorated, coordinated, nicely
stocked, spacious. The towels even matched the soap bars!
Shower Power: Fantastic! Nothing like them.
Hot or Not?: Hot as hot can be.
What Made it Nice: The chance to get clean after swimming
and stay clean for at least a little bit longer than usual.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Nada. This shower was awesome!

At First Glance: Lovely. Cozy, colorful and classic.
Shower Power: Smooth, healing, cleansing.
Hot or Not?: Hot enough for me! And with the humidity,
sometimes almost too hot! But cold showers were nice too.
What Made it Nice: Fully stocked, nice space, bathtub, real
privacy.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: Nothing!

At First Glance: Ew. This is filthy, gross, and disgusting.
There are so many bugs in here! The more I looked, the more bugs I saw. So I
just closed my eyes. And then I hit my head on the very short showerhead. Ow.
Shower Power: Ok, only it was so short in Abby’s shower
(Abby is our shortest family member, by the way) that the water met her tummy.
And it was a push-in faucet, so after thirty to sixty seconds, the faucet would

At First Glance: six public showers, along the hallway
between men’s and women’s restrooms; everything was white, but not a very clean
white.
Shower Power: Wonderful. But Mom felt like the showerhead
was throwing pebbles at her. So maybe it varied with each shower.
Hot or Not?: Well…really hot. Throughout the shower it kept
getting hotter and hotter. After a while, we just turned everything off, and
then took cold-water showers. That felt really good!

At First Glance: White and flowery. Smelled good, too. Roomy
showers and nice curtains.
Shower Power: Preeetty good, but there have been better.
Hot or Not?: That was hot.
What Made it Nice: Lovely pot of flowers and high-up counter
for all our stuff. Numerous hooks, and friendly people.
What Made it Not-So-Nice: It was humid, and there were only
curtains, as opposed to doors, which provide more privacy.

At First Glance: Lovely. Flowered curtains, radio playing
throughout the bathrooms, fabulous painted pipes matched the walls‼
Shower Power: OK, it could have been better.
Hot or Not?: Very hot. Amazing.
What Made it Nice: The radio. That was a first for us. We
got updated on the news, which we are really out of the loop on, seeing as how
we have no newspaper.
