At First Glance: A building with two doors, each marked family bathroom; a rather large room with a tall ceiling, wooden walls like in a cabin, beautiful beige and brown tiles on the floor and the walls of the shower. In this “family restroom” was a toilet, a spacious shower, a sink in granite countertop on top of locked wooden cupboards, and a large trashcan.

Shower Power: Started strong, but became slightly weaker with each flush of the toilet or running of water in the sink. Still, it was relatively powerful, even when other appliances borrowed water from its powerful flow.

Hot or Not?: Started very hot, but each flush of the toilet or running of water in the sink changed the temperature dramatically and unexpectedly, and always in a different direction. First hot, then cold, the hot, then cold again. The knob itself was not properly labeled, but the surrounding area was properly labeled. But the smallest adjustment made the biggest change in temperature.

What Made it Nice: It was wonderfully clean and spacious, with the most changing space we have had in a long time. Large, flat, tiled, triangular shelf in the corner of the shower contained all of our shower stuff. Three dragonfly hooks (a metal dragonfly with its tail curved up as the hook) by the toilet and one by the shower served us well, though it would have been more convenient if they were all by the shower. Also, a fishing-lure-bedecked shower curtain hung from the shower curtain rod, just long enough and just wide enough.

What Made it Not-So-Nice: The shower curtain was the only thing attempting to keep the water inside the shower, and it did not do a very good job of doing so. Also, some of us have become accustomed to having benches on which to sit while changing.
